1: PRODUCT LIFECYCLE CONSULTING
Product Life cycle Consulting is offered either on a contract or per project basis.After in depth discussion of client’s requirements and areas of focus, Brian will submit a proposal detailing the layout of the project including a time line and cost for the assignment.
Review day to day department and inter-departmental processes, collaboration and work on refining to increase efficiencies. Assist with setting up satellite offices or global operations. Institute social and environmental audits to ensure vendor compliance. Establish work flow charts and management team building.
Review current procedures and refine. Review best sourcing practices such as on-shore, near-shore or off-shore. Set up procedures for vendor audits. Establish new sourcing opportunities.
Review and refine current quality procedures and systems, create quality manuals.
Establish most efficient PD processes.
Review all aspects of the supply chain and refine for greater efficiencies and profitability.
2: SOURCING PROJECTS
This can be done on a per project or contract basis. Based on a client’s product requirements and after receiving detailed product knowledge, Brian will source the product, through associates in the best suited supply areas.
For very specific complex products, Brian will visit with the client (or independently) suppliers to review the company and process.
Clients will be given 2 or 3 options of where to produce the product, as Brian will only suggest well qualified vendors that meet all requirements.
3: PROCUREMENT AND PRODUCTION
This can be done on a per-project or contract basis. Brian will negotiate with the supplier to procure the product - price timelines and quality. Brian will place the order, monitor the production time line and ensure on-time delivery.
Brian will arrange product inspections, sampling, and communications with the vendor based on clients requirements.
Brian can assist in pattern making process through 3rd parties –either CAD or manual.
This can be done either on a per-project or contract basis. Brian will arrange for 3rd party testing or product audits. He will communicate results with the client and make suggestions on what deviations are acceptable based on clients requirements.
Brian will co-ordinate 3rd part auditing or he can arrange with associates to do the audit on behalf of the client.
Brian offers extended trips for QA upon client requests.
